Petroleum Oriented Safety Training (POST)
The Petroleum Oriented Safety Training (POST) is a safety orientation program which many oil companies require as the minimum acceptable safety training to access their sites. In co-operation with the major oil companies, Canadian Petroleum Contractors Association has developed a common contractor program.
The one-hour program outlines the required safety documentation for petroleum sites and focuses on behavior towards safety and proper personal protective equipment.
Howard Heal is the Western Representative for the POST Committee. If you have any questions, comments or feedback related to POST training and program requirements, please contact Howard at 587-876-4771.
